Astrantia 'Moulin Rouge' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer burgundy and red flowers emerge. Enormous, intense, deep red bracts with sparkling centres like the sequins of a slinky dress. Very sexy. Oh la la! Plants are easy and long-lived and the floral display also lasts for at least 8 weeks.
