Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This charmer will capture any fairy’s heart! Low mounds of pretty rounded leaves eventually 6” wide are evergreen and topped in mid spring with 8”wands of nodding, fringed purple bells! Not as difficult as some references warn...enjoys gritty but moisture retentive soils, maybe on a mound/rock wall in the woodland, or in a lightly shaded rock garden or trough? Protect from snails and slugs.
One of the best little plants you will ever have. An evergreen member of the Primrose family from high grassy meadows in Europe, this has multiple stems to 10" bearing sweet fringed lavender bells. This forms a nice clump in time and has no discernable faults. Whenever we rarely come across anyone who doesn't like Soldanellas, we ban them from the nursery as this is a serious flaw that bespeaks of larger things.
Beautiful Primrose family member with evergreen rounded leaves and numerous upright stems from which hang fringed lavender bells in spring. Truly a plant of elfin charm. This is very good garden plant and easy to please. Native to European high meadows. Showy beyond its size.
Larger and most showy of the species. Wide fringed funnel-shaped flowers of bluish-amethyst.
