Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Semi-evergreen beauty with new late winter foliage emerging with distinct red edging topped with white flowers floating just above the leaves. A mere 10" tall, so site at the front of your viewing area! Clumps out to about 24" wide. Bright shade or mornin
Excellent selection done by Darrell Probst. The large, heart-shaped leaves are edged red in spring, turning all green in summer and last thru winter. Medium-sized flowers consist of dark rose-pink sepals and creamy-white cup with spurs. Slow spreading and drought tolerant = great bold ground-cover for dry shade. Although I do recommend to water regularly the first year for a great start.
Showy, large rounded heart shaped dark green leaves that are heavily flushed w/ red in spring topped by clusters of bright pink flowers with rose red sepals. Height approx 16". Zones 5-9. Evergreen.
A Darrell Probst introduction which is superior to the typical x rubrum. This has dark rose-red flowers held above the foliage as well as below. The evergreen leaves are larger and more rounded than typical and when young are accented with a thin red rim. Drought tolerant.
