Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Like a smaller version of Y. rostrata, I couldn't figure out what it was when I first saw it. Compared to Y. rostrata, it has leaves that are shorter and greener, but are otherwise similar. It tends to branch more and has a bit more of a 'Joshua Tree' look with age; in fact, it could be considered a more moisture tolerant substitute for Joshua Tree (though admittedly there is nothing quite like a Joshua Tree, Yucca brevifolia). It is native to parts of southwest Texas and is a popular landscape plant in that state. Hardy to about -5 °F. Limited Supply.
