Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A less dramatic, but still attractive species, this trunkless Nolina forms broad clumps of long, shiny deep green pendulous leaves. Flower spikes to 6' tall appear in the spring. It is native to moderate elevations of Arizona and New Mexico, often in rather moist areas. One of the hardiest Nolinas, it can easily handle temperatures down to -10°F, and perhaps lower. This collection is from near Payson, Arizona. DS.
