Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This hardy Fuchsia differs from var. regia in having a more upright habit, and shorter, rounder leaves. Basically it looks more like a normal Fuchsia. Leaves tend to drop earlier in the winter than the others: it can be cut back hard every year. Its tolerances are not that well known, but it likes full sun and seems to prefer better drainage than other Fuchsias. It is root hardy to at least 10 °F once established, maybe lower.
