This unusual form of the always-enjoyable Hardy Fuchsia (to 2') adds some bright color to a shady picture with its yellow leaves and contrasting reddish stems and tubular flowers. S-PSh/M
Beautiful burnished gold leaves on merlot stems make this a popular garden choice…add the vivid red magenta flowers with purple sepals and we have mass hysteria!! Bright shade or morning sun, rich soil, plenty of moisture. Grows 2-3' in a season, upright arching branches. Flowers all summer and fall. Don't cut back old stems until spring.
This hardy fuchsia has golden foliage and bright magenta red flowers. The flowers grace the arching stems in profusion throughout the summer.
Gold-green leaves; tends 2b low & wide
Chartruse foliage with violet red flowers all summer. Really nice color contrast. Likes partial shade and adequate water.
A hardy Fuchsia with golden foliage (2" long leaves) with a graceful somewhat arching or lax form (shown to good advantage over a rock wall.) Vibrant red blooms are the typical tubular shape with short rose-purple corolla, red tubes and sepals. The veins of the leaf and stems turn magenta in Fall when grown in sun. In cool maritime, Pacific Northwest, plant in full sun. In other areas, it will do better with afternoon shade.

This hardy, small flowered fuchsia has the familiar purple and pink flower, but its foliage is a warm glowing yellow, especially when its happiest in moist half sun. Tends to be lower (to 3 ft or so) than other selections. Handsome. USDA zone 7 with mulch to protect the crown. A die-back shrub at lower temperatures.
Golden leaves add a new dimension to Fuchsia use in gardens, and this plant looks beautiful combined with anything that has large silvery or purple leaves. Of course, with typical pink/purple Fuchsia flowers, it also looks great just with itself! The leaf shape of this cultivar is similar to F. m. 'Ricartonii', i.e. a bit more airy looking than other forms with long internodes on vigorous branches. It may reach about 5' tall. Easily grown, given moist soil and shelter from hot sun. Hardy to about 10 °F. Semi evergreen shrub. Chile.
