Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This hybrid of two Western Australian species is one of the easiest Grevilleas to grow. It is really quite different from the eastern Australian species offered here, being better adapted to our rainfall pattern of wet winters and dry summers. Its billowy masses of spreading fernlike foliage and hundreds of tiny white flowers are also different. It is very vigorous and should make an excellent foliage container plant for full sun. Very cool, but, alas, not very hardy, it will be perfectly happy in our climate until the temperature drops below about 23 °F, below which temperature it is heavily damaged. Nevertheless, I have had it in my garden for several years and it has always bounced back from the cold, growing away with no special care. Very easy in the Pacific Northwest.
