Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This name is given to a number of G. victoriae forms with smaller, rounded leaves and flowers that are a brilliant deep red rather than the typical orangey-red. My form has somewhat yellowish leaves, providing a stunning contrast with the fiery red flowers. It will form a broad shrub over time to about 8' x 12'. Lacks the ironclad toughness of other G. victoriae forms; for a sunny, sheltered garden with excellent drainage. Hardiness uncertain, certainly at least 20 °F, in theory it should be much hardier when growing well. Australia
