Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Evergreen shrub to 6', narrow green leaves, compact red flowers in winter/spring. Grevilleas are known for flowers that look like fireworks, but this one really takes the cake! A fairly innocuous shrub out of bloom (which isn't too often anyhow), with narrow, green leaves on upright branches; it will intrigue even the most seasoned gardener with its show of rather compact but surreally bright red flowers that appear at various times of the year and hang along the undersides of the branches. It may reach 6' x 6' over time. Very hardy and adaptable, it tolerates drought and heavier soils. Hardy to at least 10 °F. Australia.
