Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Tree to 50', flat-topped with many ascending branches! A very rare, hardy eucalypt, this one forms a medium size tree with numerous ascending trunks, ultimately forming a picturesque flat top at maturity. The bark is smooth and mostly colored in yellow, copper and tan, and the pendulous leaves are a deep, rich green. Little is known about the cultivation of this species; initially I thought it would not grow on clay (its soil is very rocky in habitat) but I have now found it to be much more adaptable than I had expected. This is one of a number of very rare eucalypts I will be rotating in and out from the list so get it while you can!! Hardy to about 10 °F. Australia.
