Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A heavy set of purple blooms are stunning in the late spring-summer and it will often rebloom in the fall. Evergreen foliage gives this plant year round interest. Large populations exist in Mt. St. Helens blast zone.
A shrubby mat former, with broad evergreen leaves these should be mostly the purple form. One of the best shrubby Penstemons, nice draped over the edge of a trough.
Native to Wash and OR and found in the Cascades, this is a little dandy. (See - we do grow some natives!) Evergreen little shrublet spreading in a flattened dome with lovely purplish to purplish-blue flowers in spring. It's for the rock garden, not the manure-laden border.
