Fast growing to 8-10 ft tall and wide with an open and upright habit. Striking, shiny foliage is 2+" long, finely toothed, and softer than many of the genus. A handsome addition to the garden in full sun and well-drained soil. Completely evergreen in USDA zone 8, partially deciduous and frost hardy into lower USDA zone 7.
