Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This 'Southern Form' of A. columbiana is another excellent and easily grown garden plant. Having a rather open habit and long-ish (for a manzanita), green leaves, it has the same basic uses as A. columbiana, and it may be somewhat more vigorous in gardens. Hardy to about 5 °F. Bright green leaves, red bark. California.
