This selection from the east side of the Olympic Peninsula is a compact, low shrub to about 1' tall by 5' wide, with green leaves longer than those of A. uva-ursi, and a more upright habit. Unlike some forms that sprawl about, this one remains very compact and tidy. In spring the plant is covered in white flowers. -10 to -20 °F.
