Contorted, semi-weeping tree with papery peeling bark. One of the Australian “Paperbarks”, named for the attractive, flaking, bright white bark. This species also occurs in New Guinea and New Caledonia. It has creamy-white flowers rich in nectar, and a treelike but contorted growth habit. Hardy to about 22 °F.
