Callistemon sieberi is one of the hardiest bottlebrushes, if not THE hardiest. It comes in many forms, but is always a small shrub with showy cream colored flowers and narrow leaves. This plant is probably a form of C. sieberi but I can't be absolutely certain. It is perhaps the most compact and dense growing of any Callistemon – remaining under 3' tall and wide with tiny leaves and beautiful silky new growth. Yellow flowers are produced on mature plants. If you are one of those people with high standards for cuteness, this is the Callistemon for you. Hardy to at least 0 – 5 °F.
