Rounded shrub to 5', green leaves, lots of screaming red flowers. Callistemon taxonomy is difficult but that is at least what these plants are SUPPOSED to be. Overall the plant looks very much like C. subulatus but not as weeping, and with flowers that are not quite such a deep red. Hardy to about 10 °F.
