Nursery contributed plant descriptions

I’m not crazy about the color pink (I have my feet firmly planted in Camp Orange) but something about THIS pink annual Salvia has my vote. Maybe it’s my general fondness for easy-peasy Salvia horminum or “Annual Clary”? I adore its showy bracts, ease of growth & gently reseeding nature. It makes a wonderful cut flower – fresh or dried, & it will grow in & thrive just about any season. Height is around 2’ & branching to around 1’ wide. Beautiful with soft blues & purples, but you know what I think? This would sure look snazzy with Papaver atlanticum ‘Flore Pleno’ – which is, you guessed it, ORANGE. Maybe pink & orange can get along!
