Rusty-brown hairs decorate this sturdy 6-8' twining vine or mat cover all year...in spring, are added the gems: 1-2" rosy-coral ?pea? flowers. S/M
Need a GIANT FAST GROWING Vine or groundcover that doesn’t need much water? Native to eastern Australia & tolerant of a wide range of conditions, “Dusky Coral Pea” is evergreen & vigorous! Quickly reaching 20’-30’, it bears quite beautiful elongated 1.5” soft scarlet “pea” flowers over a long period-from February to June (more with rich soil & Summer water). Pretty glossy tri-leaved foliage, too! Thrives in poor clayish soil & sand dunes, but will look its best with some compost added. A good evergreen choice for a long ugly fence, or use it as a low maintenance hillside groundcover/soil stabilizer. Tolerates mild frosts, more severe frosts cause some damage, but it soon recovers. Tolerates salt spray!
