Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Dahlia-flowered zinnias received a gold medal from the RHS in 1924 as the most outstanding improvement in flower development. This brilliant variety is from a German seed house and is mildew resistant.
Super scarlet! We have a great affection for this series of jumbo Zinnias. They’re super tall & super double, but they still stand up in the garden all by themselves & attract plenty of friendly visitors (butterflies, bees & whatnot else!) Sturdy stems grow to 3’ tall, 2’ wide & each crimson bloom can span up to a whopping 6” across! Blooms profusely through the Fall especially if you keep them deadheaded & well fed. FABulous cut!
