Nursery contributed plant descriptions

We’ve begged & pleaded, but you incorrigible plant fans just won’t let us be in our refusal to propagate this plant. If we’ve told you once, we’ve told you a thousand times – not only does this sucker have an invasive root system, but IT STINGS WHEN YOU TOUCH THE LEAVES. I know that it’s probably the most fabulous relatively hardy tropical-looking giant you’ve ever seen, but why would you want to deal with a giant, evil, stingy plant in your garden?? Too many of you want it for us to argue anymore, so I’ve conceded defeat. Here! Have your evil plant! Just make sure you keep it controlled, because it definitely has the potential to be weedy. Wigandia hails from Central & South America & grows upwards of 12’. Dislikes, but tolerates frost.
