Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Scented flowers bloom for months in cool weather! Lemon-yellow flowers, the edges stitched with lavender. Grow with nemesia, sweet alyssums and nemophila.
Short-lived perennial with scented 2? flowers colored with a creamy face and edged with narrow soft purple borders and don't forget the tiny orange eye. These cheerful colors are held on 4? stems most of the year in our garden and act as a strong winter anti-depressant! Full sun or light shade with regular water. Hardy to 10F. Garden origin.
Perhaps the prettiest viola there is! Soft yellow blossoms are delicately rimmed in deep lavender blue. Blooms mostly spring through early summer. Provide partial shade in summer and a well drained soil in winter to insure longevity.
In my opinion, the most valuable of all Violas! Reliably perennial, it blooms heavily Spring thru Fall across the U.S. & year around in coastal California. Enchanting primrose yellow petals beautifully edged in lavender are 1” to 1.5” across, scented & perfect for posies with a dense neat foliage clump. Cut back to 3” tall once in awhile to rejuvenate & top-dress with compost. To 10” tall.
