Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Our love of all species in the genus Ursinia has lead us to this little-grown perennial shrublet with Spring green linear leaves & sunny yellow flowers on long, upright stems. While we're unfamiliar with this species, the general disposition of the other plants in the genus make a strong case for this one - they're all easily grown, drought tolerant, & practically everblooming. I am particularly delighted with the way the buds nod downward on the stems before raising & unfurling themselves skyward. Ursinias can tolerate many varied soil types, & I've seen them perform equally well in pots, raised beds, & destitute garden corners where nothing else thrives.
