Nursery contributed plant descriptions

It’s hard work breeding good tomatoes for the Bay Area & harder still to find LARGE tomatoes that will produce here well, so I want to personally thank Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms for going out of his way to find a BIG, MEATY tomato that not only grows here, but actually has flavor. Thank you, thank you, Brad! Flattened 4” fruits have metallic green stripes over a variably ribbed surface, with dark brownish pink flesh. Each averages between 8-12 ounces in weight. Plants are indeterminate, but stocky. Rich soil for best results – amend with compost as deeply as you can! Early – Mid-early fruiting.
