Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This Silene is native to Southern California. This variety has many thin, branching flower stems that grow to about 18” tall & is much more vigorous than the regular S. laciniata. It blooms with true red flowers over a long period. Very showy! The leaves of the rosette stay low. Hummingbirds love the flowers. Plant with Mimulus cardinalis 'Golden' for a beautiful hummingbird buffet!
