Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A superstar in our South African rarities collection! Luxurious, rich lavender-blue, 3.5” clusters practically smother this awesome and easy to grow perennial all Summer. Tough and drought tolerant, you’ll admire how pretty it looks year round with its shiny evergreen foliage. To 2’ tall and 3’ across, it’s base-branching with arching, upright stems, creating a tight, compact form. Thrives with low or average water, just give it decent drainage and a 1” layer of compost to get it to look like our stunning 2-year-old in the photo. Dead-head to extend bloom. A spectacular butterfly magnet, it glimmered in June with hordes of butterflies, the likes of which we’ve never seen!
