Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Big, honking leaves on this grand & stately Salvia provide a very tropical effect. Lovely mid-blue flowers with showy lime green calyxes appear above the leaves throughout the growing season, & are reason enough to grow the plant all on their own. To 5’ tall, this form doesn’t have the tendency to spread & wander like the species, & as such would make a large & luxurious accent to any partly shaded corner, & a wonderful backdrop for smaller plants. This Salvia is sensitive to frost, but can be easily propagated from cuttings and often comes back from the roots when damaged. From Peru!
