Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A beautiful cross that was selected at Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz. Named after Jean Coria, this Salvia has large dark purple flowers that are a beautiful addition to just about any garden color combination. Believed to be a cross between S. gesneriifolia & S. guaranitica, so it has large flowers that are very showy. It will grow to about 6’ tall & wide. Will be dormant in the winter, which is a good time to cut it back for fresh new growth in the Spring. Blooms early Summer through Fall.
