Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Velvety blue-purple trumpets with darker centers distinguish this rare variety. All salpiglossis are best in sheltered spots in cooler summer areas, but are so beautiful that even if they do not last the whole summer they are well worth growing.
Love blue Salpiglossis but don’t care for the rest of the colors that commonly come in the mix? Now you can get just the blue! Dramatic, velvety, intense purple-blue, funnel shaped flowers are beautifully veined with gold. To 2’ tall & 1’ wide, Salpiglossis is extremely floriferous & long blooming - Spring thru Summer if dead-headed. Excellent in a container & lovely combined with a trailing yellow-gold bloomer like our native wildflower, Camissonia bistorta.
