Nursery contributed plant descriptions

We chose this double flowered primrose because we were taken with its subtle color – the petals are painted with a combination of white, purple, and yellow, and the hues vary and blend as the blooms open and fade. Plants grow 8” tall & wide, & will spread more with time & care. Blooming stems to 10” hold many flowers which open in succession. Terracotta pots (at least 10” in diameter) with rich, loose soil in dappled shade or morning sun yield best results. These cuties like average water & if you live somewhere with cool Summers they will bloom for most of the year, but mostly their flowers are featured in Spring.
