Decadently double! Soft, sugary yellow flowers are packed with petals on this minute & cute Auricula of our own selection. ‘Butterball’ has flowering stems to 5”, & a leaf rosettes with little meal that are about 4” across. Auricula primroses have been known to gardeners for hundreds of years, & during that time have been developed into every color & form imaginable. They’re great plants for city gardeners, too, because of their small size & portability. To grow auriculas well, you need a cool, shady spot, a medium sized pot, & rich, fast draining soil. When you plants start to get crowded you can either pot them into a larger container (don’t go too big!) or divide your plants to increase your collection!
