Nursery contributed plant descriptions

At night, I often dream of plants too radiantly blue to be real, but this rare & fast growing California native totally satisfies my not-uncommon lust for true-true royal blue flowers. To 3’ x 2’ & multi-branching, each 1” bloom is a thing of beauty. Prolific, long bloomer loved by bees, too! Does best in part shade with rich, well drained soil. Feed once or twice. Self-sows! The tiny hairs on Phacelia can cause skin dermatitis for some people so be sure to wear long sleeves & gloves when gardening around them!
