Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This miniature petunia has bright pink flowers with deep lavender throats, each bloom little more than 1" across. They flower continuously and prodigiously all summer and fall. Perfect for containers with silver foliage plants, they certainly have won my heart. Native to South America.
Even those of us who just hate Petunias can overlook our prejudice & enjoy this fabulous plant. The parent of modern overly frou-frou hybrids, Petunia integrifolia hails from Mexico & will knock your little socks off with its long-blooming, tough but charming appeal. Flowers are 2” across, & intense magenta with an almost black throat. All Summer long it bursts with color & charisma, blooming profusely, & combining strikingly with oranges, yellows, & blues. Best of all, you can just lop it back to the base & with a little added compost it will return for a reprise! Ours even survived the evil freeze into the 20’s F! Awesome in pots, & perfect at the edge of borders, it’s a 2’x2’ trailing wonder, & it reseeds! Hummingbirds love it too!
