This elegant & exquisitely tasty, torpedo-shaped onion will be the crowning glory of your salads & sandwiches. Native to Italy, it’s a favorite with Mediterranean chefs & not easy-to-find here in N. America. Produces tender, thin-skinned, glossy maroonish pink, medium to large bulbs that are sweet, mild, & delish. Excellent intermediate variety that will store approximately 3 months.
