Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This heirloom Marigold was collected from a garden near Villandry in France and created a lot of excitement at the nursery when it first bloomed. The flowers are single, glowing, mahogany red - sometimes edged with gold that then mature into velvety bronzes and yellows. It makes a 2’ X 2’ bush and is very easy to grow. ‘Villandry’ is covered with flowers all Summer and Fall. Even people who do not care for Marigolds like this one!
