EH Wilson called this beautiful lily from the Sichuan Province of China a "jewel beyond price". Fragrant white flowers are pinkish on the outside of the petals and have a gorgeous yellow throats, they appear in groups of 1-8 atop their wiry 3-5' stems and they willingly perfume any summer garden. This lily makes a fabulous cut flower! Plant them in groups for the best display and mulch them to keep roots cool. S/M/GDr
This lily is right at home in any garden; white reflexed petals enclose golden throats and are decorated with raspberry striped exteriors. Beautiful and easy to mix with pinks and purples or golds and yellows.

The exquisite trumpets of this species trumpet lily arrive on the scene in mid to late July and provide dramatic height and fragrance. Regale is a white fragrant lily with a yellow throat and pink reverses to the petals. Elegant. Said to be one of the best plants to enter cultivation in the last 200 years!
Discovered growing with abandon in the rugged wilds of Szechuan, this richly perfumed lily is so beautiful and easy to grow that it led to a lily renaissance in the 1920s. In fact, George Slate in his 1939 Lilies for American Gardens advised, "If only one lily is to be grown, it may well be this." Kissed with burgundy outside, it glows with gold on the inside. 3-6 feet, early summer blooming, zones 4-8aS(10WC), from Holland.
Discovered in the early 1900s by E.H. Wilson, the aptly named “Regal Lily” rocked the garden world. It’s still considered the ULTIMATE LILY to grow & I agree! 5-10 huge (6” across), yellow throated, ruby backed flowers unfold atop muscular stalks, towering 5-8’ over the garden! Highly perfumed, they’re easier & tougher than oriental lilies & each year begets more stems & flowers. Our 6 year-old “Regal” bore at least 20 stalks & 100 blossoms last year, beginning in May & lasting 2 months. Cut to the ground after bloom & give it compost in Spring. Note: We ship large, dormant bulbs to get you off to a strong start. Deer resistant!
