Nursery contributed plant descriptions

I have to buy this HEIRLOOM Kale whenever I see it at the farmer’s market! It looks (& is) so healthy! Full of powerful antioxidants & tons of vitamins & minerals. Plus, the incredibly textural leaves look like dinosaur skin, or at least something a dinosaur might have eaten. Fast growing to 2-3’ tall & 2-2.5’ wide, the dark blue-green leaves can be harvested throughout the season. Very Winter hardy, as well as heat tolerant. Great stir-fried with butternut squash & pecans. Yum! Can also be eaten raw.
