Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Not for the faint of heart! If you're drawn to the strange, the dark, or the peculiar, you may just need one of these little known & little grown tomato relatives for your own Addams Family garden. Beneath the unassuming green leaves of this trailing/vining herb lurk hairy star shaped flowers of green & brown. The 1” flowers cluster at ground level in masses, like a moldy growth at the base of the leaves & the smell? Well, I hate to say it, but it is as they describe - “dog-poop-esque.” Herbally, this plant is associated with the underworld, but more I cannot say. Consult your local shaman for more information. From South America & makes the weirdest hanging basket specimen I can think of. Ultimate size is as yet to be determined.
