Nursery contributed plant descriptions

There's scarcely any information available on this rare South African bulb, but what there is is pretty compelling! Unusually tall for an Ixia at almost 4' in height, it's described as being “almost Dierama-like” in habit, but as it's from a winter rainfall area of South Africa, it should perform better here than many Dieramas do. Though we haven't seen them bloom yet, we can tell already that these plants are quite vigorous! Flower color is purported to be pink. I can't wait to see what develops! Summer deciduous, & during Summer plants do not require water.
