Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Vibrant pink blooms are produced in abudnance from early Summer through frost on this little known species Impatiens. Grows to 2' tall, & slightly wider, with lax stems that root along the nodes where they tough the damp ground. The blooms are almost 2” across, with a peculiar fuzzy spur. Leaves are deep green, & compliment the cherry red & slightly pubescent stems. Common throughout Central Africa. Can easily be grown as a garden plant provided you protect it from frost, & in a space without too much root competition! Rich soil is definitely best.
