Nursery contributed plant descriptions

We love the way hollyhocks just keep blooming, opening from the bottom of the stem to the tips creating a lavish summer-long show. This berry-stained selection has black raspberry flowers and white or pale pink edges with delightful variation, including single to double blooms on the same stem. Grow against a fence or in the back of the garden bed, with plenty of air circulation to keep healthy.
Sure to attract oohs & aahs is this new but still hard to find Hollyhock bearing single white blooms with rich raspberry veining surrounding a yellow eye. Sometimes, both single & double flowers are found on the same stem. From 4’ to 6’ tall. In cooler climates, the petals may turn all raspberry with a pretty white edge. Hollyhocks do best in rich soil & full sun. Reseeds!
