This classic selection has shimmering, star-shaped leaves which range in color from deep sea-green to bronzy-purple. The undersides of the foliage are a striking metallic silver-purple. This charming Heuchera forms neat clumps 12-18 inches tall which in summer are contrasted by an abundance of tiny cream flowers that rise above the leaves on burgundy stalks. This is the perfect perennial for border or container and it was the 1991 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year. S-PSh/M

This is the plant that sparked the revolution in coral bells, the cultivar that was there at the beginning of it all. Tidy mounds of purple-bronze foliage can turn to copper in full sun. Leaves on mature plants can be nicely ruffled and puckered. Perfect in the border and also long-lived in containers. Selected by the Perennial Plant Association as Perennial Plant of the Year 1991.
