Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Wow! Talk about the colors of the moment! This flower is wearing some hip threads! Yummy orange and a touch of chartreuse green, great combination I have to say. Anyway, enough anthropomorphizing. This bulb from South Africa is similar in color to Gladiolus alatus but has neat-o, thick, leathery foliage. Location in rocky hill areas, this plant needs great drainage. Grow in a pot with a rocky soil mixture or in a bed with perfect drainage. Fragrant!
