Semi-evergreen perennial with a neat mounding habit and lovely double yellow flowers that bloom from spring to late summer.
A clump forming perennial, with a rosette of softly hairy, pinnate leaves. In Spring and Summer, semi-double, sunshine yellow, anemone-like flowers, are borne on tall branching stems. One of the few brightly coloured flowers for shade.Attractive foliage goes well with violets and primulas.Well drained soil.Tougher than you might expect.

A perennial blooming over a long season extending from late spring until late summer. Deadheading helps extend rebloom. Flowers are yellow semi double, rose like, on branching upright stems. Clumping growth habit and leaves are velvety and fuzzy texture. Hardy in zone 5-10. Likes sun to part shade.
So easy, so reliable & so cheerful! Geum chiloense ‘Lady Stratheden’ is also so valuable for its long bloom season, beginning in late Spring & continuing until late Summer (if deadheaded). The semi-double, “rose” like, bright yellow blooms are held upright on branching stems above pretty, kidney shaped leaves. Evergreen in mild climates like ours. Does well in average soil, even better in rich soil. Excellent in containers too (at least 12” across).
