Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A sweet little Fuchsia, much loved by hummingbirds. When I pull aside my window shades in the morning I almost always see a hummingbird sipping from the flowers outside the window. An uplifting way to start my day! The flowers are small, but they are still quite attractive, light red with green tips. However, the beauty of the bush lies in the profusion of flowers & the tidy dense shape of the bush itself. It makes a nice self-supporting round shrub around 4-5’ tall & serves well as a landscape Fuchsia. It has inherited another appealing trait from its parent, F. cordifolia “Chang”: It has never shown any damage from the Fuchsia mite in my garden & any damage it can get is very mild. So, basically it is MITE RESISTANT. It can tolerate more sun than most other Fuchsias, but does well in full shade too. It is definitely my favorite among the small flowered mite resistant Fuchsia varieties.
