Nursery contributed plant descriptions

I love the scent of Freesia flowers. It’s got to be one of the best flower smells around. This Freesia is a rare original un-hybridized variety with strongly scented flowers. The fragrance carries well so you can just walk by them & catch the nice aroma floating through the air. These have flowers that are a bright white with a yellow throat. Freesias are easy & naturalize well. Soon you’ll have a nice clump that you can share with friends. Can go totally dry in Summer but it isn’t absolutely necessary like some other South African bulbs. Blooms in Spring. Makes great cut flowers.
