Nursery contributed plant descriptions

What a cute common name! This is another tufted poppy like Eschscholzia caespitosa except this one lives in Northern California, whereas E. caespitosa is common to the South Coast ranges. Also, this one has golden yellow flowers (E. caespitosa's are pale yellow) like buttercups, 1” across borne well above the soft green foliage. Altogether pleasant & looks sweet planted here & there in the garden. 10” tall Reseeds!
