Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Breathtaking in flower, this golden-orange blooming epipyhtic cactus needs little care to produce it's jaw dropping blooms in late spring. Average-low water in loose draining soil, only occasional feeding, & protection from extreme cold is all that's required for the plant to produce the majestic 5-7” blooms. This hybrid bears gorgeous orange flowers. Epiphyllums make great hanging basket plants! Best situated under an overhang or tree to provide some extra frost protection. We are growing these plants in VERY limited quantity, so if you're thinking about getting one, don't hesitate! From the collection of Strybing Arboretum.
