Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A promising find for those of us who have just about given up on growing Eggplants. Pam Pierce (author of Golden Gate Gardening) tried ‘Millionaire’ on her porch in San Francisco in 2009 & to her surprise it did very well with the cool weather. Very early maturing (55 days), it is also very productive with slender 8-12” long Japanese type eggplants. Perfect for the grill or sliced into ratatouille. Plant 2-3’ apart in good garden soil & keep it well watered & fertilized
